Why would Leverkusen develop a player for city?

Manchester City are making concrete moves for Kennet Eichhorn with Pep Guardiola personally involved. City's plan is to sign Eichhorn from Hertha and then loan him out to Bayer Leverkusen so that he gets match practice in the Bundesliga. Bayern remain seriously interested in Eichhorn, as he's the club's top target for the midfield. Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also there. €10-12m release clause. Player has yet to make a decision [@Plettigoal, @philipphinze24]

We're about to win the domestic double. We were one poor game (and terrible officials) away from a cl final. We have players breaking records left and right, a coach that seems to have a real vision and has the dressing room....and yet the tl is as bleak as I have ever seen it.

The "Bayern legends" lost 2 UCL Finals before it eventually clicked, including one of the most embarrassing losses ever. Brother it takes time, you can’t do it on the first try. And not winning the CL doesn’t erase what we’ve seen since August

As much as I try to hide it by acting level headed, the mask is wearing off man. I feel empty after this. This season reminded us of Bayern legends, it was like the newer fanbase was witnessing the rebirth of the likes of Robben, Basti, Ribery, etc etc. I'm empty man.

Lowkey might retire from watching footy soon, just watch the Bayern results like stats. Feeling after big losses are so shitty i can’t explain it, disconnecting from it all might be the play.
