This is how biodiversity loss happens. A wet patch of a field drained. And for what? A bit of marginal grazing in an unprofitable system. Agri-environment schemes count for little when landowners can do such damage (often inside the law) with impunity.

It’s hard to find the words to describe this week for the Given family, saying goodbye to our amazing brother who was also a friend to so many, a musician, husband, father and son. Our gang will never be the same again, but we will all remember and celebrate the fun times we had and love and support his dear wife Doris and two incredible sons @joshuagivenphotography and @joel.given This week we also said goodbye to our uncle Ambrose, another huge hole in our family. Thanks for all the love and support during this difficult time 🙏🏻🤍
