@Amadruns Gg. "Better" splits to run against. If it were me I would've preferred never having that run you did yesterday. It's so annoying leaving a game when you had the taste of knowing what's possible but you really don't feel like grinding for it again 😅.

New PB/WR on the battle of olympus, slight revenge after losing that insane pace yesterday. Now the splits are more tolerable at least! Will we continue this though?

@presjpolkrta Nice one. Played that a lot in local multiplayer over null-modem cable as a kid. One of my brothers had a Pentium 75mhz and the other had. 486dx2 33mhz. On the latter one you had to shrink the screen and play on super low resolution for it to run even remotely smoothly.

Just set up Descent with a modern two stick game pad and wow that's joyful to play. Left stick for slide up/down/left/right, right stick for pitch and yaw. I'll probably need to put roll somewhere, but for now I'm using the shoulder buttons and triggers for weapon fire/select.

@NISAmerica Echoing what others have said. Would really like a switch 2 version demo and not only switch 1 with back-compat... Although I like that the switch 2 version eShop page gives a heads up about 120hz mode. Great news!

@Linkums Hehe. I bought an internal wifi network card for my computer just for that purpose. I remember the setup was finicky to make it work with the DS (some custom firmware). Fun times playing Mario Kart DS and Metroid Prime Hunters online.

20 years ago, in 2005, I didn't have wifi. I remember Mario Kart DS came out and I walked around the neighborhood to try to find unprotected wifi to try playing online. That seems pretty crazy now.
