Meet Vanessa, a Volunteer Telephone Befriender who loves cooking and walking to relax and unwind. Her favourite food is curry and she’s a fan of the classic film The Witness 📽️ Her advice? “Go ahead and volunteer, it’s easy to do and very rewarding.” 📞

Meet Ann, a Volunteer Telephone Befriender who loves doing creative activities and engaging others in community and friendship 🎨 Her advice? “Join the team, you may be the only person your Befriendee speaks to that day. What a privilege.” ♥️

Meet Barbara, a Befriender who loves gardening and exercise classes at Lisburn Leisureplex. She finds the garden therapeutic 🌿 Her advice to new volunteers? “You won’t regret it. That call becomes so important to your Befriendee". ♥️

Meet Sharyn, a Volunteer Telephone Befriender. She loves reading, music, puzzles & coffee with friends ☕️ Her tip? “Do something just for you, it energises you!” Her advice to new volunteers: “Definitely do it, it's flexible & the easiest way to Volunteer, it is so rewarding.”♥️
