@kara_woo I hadn’t seen that! Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Your use case is very similar to the one we had. Ultimately, we removed the log out button and asked users to close the browser. We essentially kicked the can down the road hoping we found a solution in due time.

I finallyfound something that is *impossible* to do with #rstats #shiny. It’s impossible to delete a cookie that has “httpOnly” enabled. Ok, ok — perhaps not impossible, but would very much appreciate help if someone has a solution to this issue: community.rstudio.com/t/problem-with…

@junekay92 Yeah. More similar than dissimilar is my initial reaction as well. One difference I enjoy is the YAML autocompletion.

@EngelhardtCR I'm curious how the transfer goes and what the big differences are. From some quarto intro stuff I've seen, they are so similar

Starting to make the #rstats migration from rmarkdown to quarto. What an exciting time to be alive!

@mink_lge Fair point. For me, if my team didn’t collaborate with folks who use other languages or source code editors, I’d likely be more resistant to switching to Quarto.

@EngelhardtCR I would find it boring to learn something from scratch when I have a tool (rmarkdown) that does more or less the same job. But maybe it's a matter of age.

@jimhunterbr Great to hear (that you have fully migrated and found it useful). Maybe support for colds will be in a future release? 😂

@EngelhardtCR Quarto is great and I`ve been swearing by it for documents since I first saw it at R Medicine last year. Now, I`m using it for all my stats work. But, sadly, it still won`t cure the common cold. 😷😢
