Cloud tip: You normally have to wait until you're in freefall to fastfall after using up b, but you're able to do it right immediately if you do it below the top platform of battlefield! It's great for mix ups and to avoid certain punishes

I've been struggling a lot with motivation throughout this year, but playing plant and some events that happened in my life have helped me regain the spark that I was missing. However I kinda wish that the rankings would reset mid season as usual, because now I'm basically out of the run for #1 for the rest of the year due to my terrible start, and that’s been making feel like I still have no real reason or purpose to keep competing, but at the same time I understand why it was changed to this way. There’s more I want to say but I'm gonna wait until after supernova is over, for now I'll lock in for this weekend 😼

Ended up getting #5 in the world !! I know most people probably expected more from me this season but I'm honestly very happy about it, I was not even expecting to get top 10 before GOML Getting #1 was one of the best things that’s ever happened to me, and my goals may have shifted a lot ever since then, but I'll continue to do my best to continue to be a threat to all the super top players and to be part of amazing sets and storylines, thank you everyone 🥹

I've always disliked the concept of "playing the way it's supposed to be played" because there's not really a correct way to play smash and while there are options that are more likely to work than others, the simple label of a "good option" and a "bad option" that is given by most people is what makes it predictable to know what option is gonna be picked at a mid-high level (and even top level sometimes), in the sense that the "good option" is more likely to be picked, therefore it's easier to predict and punish accordingly, while the bad option might be good because it's more unpredictable due to the label that is given to it. The mindset of playing/not playing a certain way because it's supposed/not supposed to work is usually what holds a lot of people back from reaching the next level. Smash is a very expressive game with endless of possibilities and outcomes, give yourself the freedom to experiment all you want and find out yourself what works better for you.
