Members of our Music Department today had the privilege of meeting Eleanor from Air Ambulance NI. As our chosen charity partner during the festive period we were delighted to be able to present a cheque for £700 thanks to the generosity of all those who supported our events.

Year 8 had a blast at the Netball Blitz! Thanks to St. Mary’s for hosting us at the Netball NI Blitz last week. Our Year 8 netball team played their hearts out, enjoyed all 8 matches and showed great team spirit throughout. A credit to our school – so proud!

Week 2: Safe Hands Some projects are worth much more than the sum of their parts - the Safe Hands project is one! This week 14 pupils and 3 staff worked with another six artists as well as chatting to Women’s Aid NI, as part of the Ending Violence Against Women & Girls campaign.

Many thanks to the Thursday group of LLW Year 11 students @Bangor_Academy who took part in our session today to learn more about the role of the Assembly. Students were also able to put questions to @StephenDunneMLA @connieegan94 Thanks to Ms Coulter for arranging the visit.

🏃‍♀️Cross Country News Best wishes to Sophie who competes in the All Ireland Schools’ XC championships this weekend in Mallusk. Belated congratulations and thanks to Molly, Lara and Sophie who proudly represented the school at the Ulster Schools’ in Mallusk back in February.

Today some Yr11 pupils visited @QUBelfast for a SPARK AI Workshop. Pupils took part in interactive sessions designed to introduce them to the future of AI in a fun and creative way. They can now engage with these technologies safely, responsibly, and confidently!
