3/3 Finally, @MGSMissHepburn’s S2 have been learning to independently analyse figurative language in poetry. You have all made so much progress - well done! 👏🏼

2/3 @MGS_Neill’s class have been working very hard to analyse figurative language in ‘The Tulip Touch’ and they did an excellent job of unpacking more complex analysis. 👏🏼

1/3 A little later than usual, here’s a snapshot of the work that impressed Team English in November. Kicking things off with some excellent examples of critical writing from @MissDoddMGSEng1’s class! 👏🏼

To kick off Book Week Scotland, our pupils heard from some of the @mgsonline teachers, who explained what reading means to them. Pupils also made their own bookmarks to share what reading means to them and here are some examples of what they said! 🦉📚 @BookWeekScot

📣 English Supported Study will not take place on Tuesday as previously advised. It will take place on Thursday the 17th in B8 instead. Thank you!

And finally, Senior Drama pupils are attending ‘Enough and of Him’ by the National Theatre of Scotland tonight at the Brunton Theatre. Everyone is really looking forward to it! 🎭
