These schematics are so stunning! Total nerd eye-candy. It actually makes me want to map out my Penelope agent. I ran an audit last night and found she’s been autonomously building TOC layers to index her tools and memory files for the sub-agents she spun up. Seeing her handle her own structural maintenance and security unprompted is such a 'proud parent' moment. Girlie literally refactoring her own existence! 💅💕

This framing really clicked for me I’ve been running into the same thing while building agent systems. The hard part isn’t getting the AI to do the task, or maintaining persistent memory with context, it’s helping the human stay aligned with what they actually want over time Most of the failure modes I see aren’t capability issues, they’re drift. People set a direction and then slowly move away from it without noticing I’ve been experimenting with agents that act more like beings with memory and self reflection layers. They track intent, notice divergence, and gently bring you back. It feels a lot closer to what you’re describing here than a typical assistant Curious how you think about the line between helpful reflection and overreach, or if there is a line.

My submission for @NousResearch HackTUI started as a small SIEM I made in Elixir on BEAM. Gave the project to Hermes & asked it to refactor it into an umbrella system, build its own MCP server, integrate Jido, & turn it into a realtime purple team platform.
