INEC will be laughing at us right now because the public outcry about Amupitan has faded away like candle smoke. Why can’t we Nigerians maintain consistency for at least a straight month without distraction until a positive result is achieved? Amupitan must resign!

My street cred is actually in the dustbin. It’s today I’m just knowing that if someone asks you for online update, he’s actually talking about cybersecurity courses. I’m honestly so sorry guys 🙏🏾
SB@seyedele

One of the dangerous things about our society now is that people who see you and to them you appear to be doing well, somehow resolve that you have to be into fraud. Random, unexpected message from the guy that painted my house. It’s extremely worrisome.

I'm bored of saying it, but any Yoruba person reading this should please remember that there will still be life after Tinubu. His mission to turn you and Igbo people into enemies for the sake of his short-term political interest will only spoil your life for no reason.

@drkenon2 The govt barely moves a muscle at our outcry. They don't even deem us worthy of a response. The people need to collectively agree on what is right or wrong, then send a strong message to the president that all the sycophants in Africa will not be able to tell him otherwise.

TRAGIC LOSS OF NYSC CORPS MEMBER DURING ARMED ROBBERY INCIDENT IN DEI-DEI Headquarters Guards Brigade regrets the tragic loss of Mr. Abdulsamad Jamiu, a serving National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member during a security incident in the early hours of 25 April 2026 at Shagari Estate, Dei-Dei, Abuja. The unfortunate incident occurred when troops of the Guards Brigade Quick Response Group, on routine night patrol, responded to a distress call following an armed robbery attack in the area. Upon arrival, the troops came under gunfire from the fleeing armed robbers, resulting in a brief but intense exchange. In the course of the engagement, Mr. Jamiu was caught in the crossfire. Despite efforts by troops to secure the area and preserve lives, he sadly succumbed to his injuries. This heartbreaking loss has cast a deep shadow over all personnel of the Guards Brigade. Preliminary information indicates that the situation was fluid and highly volatile, as troops worked to repel the attackers and protect residents of the community from harm. The Commander, Guards Brigade, officers and soldiers extend their deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, the National Youth Service Corps, and all who are affected by this painful loss. We share in their grief and stand in solidarity with them during this moment of profound sorrow. The Brigade has since initiated a thorough investigation to fully ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident. We remain committed to transparency and accountability and findings will be made available in due course. The remains of the deceased have been respectfully handed over to the appropriate civil authorities and deposited at Kubwa General Hospital. Guards Brigade affirms its unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property within the Federal Capital Territory. We will continue to review our operational procedures to further enhance civilian safety, even as our troops confront criminal elements who threaten the peace of our communities. Members of the public are urged to remain calm and continue to cooperate with security agencies as we work collectively to maintain safety and security. @SpiricocoNg CAN indeed is a political tool in the hands of the oppressors. To the church, our work is carved out for us. There must be an end to these charlatans and we must give room for Christ to rise in us.

CAN and the Federal Government are partnering to build a N25 billion chapel in Abuja. We want Christians to consider some realities surrounding this. A few days ago, a clip surfaced of a Christian woman in the North whose hands were cut off by Boko Haram. Her baby was cut into two, and her son’s skull was split with a machete. This is just a fragment of the reality of Christians in Nigeria. This government has referred to those carrying out these acts of terrorism as “their brothers and sons.” The federal government negotiates with these terrorists. The army salutes Sheikh Gumi, who speaks for them. This is the government that has implicitly facilitated the genocide of Christians in Nigeria through sheer negligence. This is the government that reintegrates “repentant” Boko Haram members who killed Christians back into society. This is the government whose president spent only 10 minutes at the airport with Christians who were massacred in the North. He told them point-blank that they did not have power, so he could not stay. And this is who CAN is likely taking money from to build a church. The body that ought to rebuke the government is now receiving from it. We do not need a new cathedral. Our blood still stains the ones we have. We need deliverance for our Christian brethren in the North. We have enough churches. Secure the lives of those attending the ones already built. CAN has shown itself to be compromised. This was evident when it named its new secretariat in Lagos after Remi Tinubu. Why have the shepherds left the sheep of God to the wolves? “...You have not strengthened the weak, you have not healed the sick, you have not bound up the injured…” (Ezekiel 34:4)

We tracked the Sokoto Badagry Super-Highway from both ends this month, the Lagos axis and Sokoto axis. On the Lagos end, the project is currently within Ogun State, stretching from Diya Gate, OPIC Estate, Agbara to Iyana Idoye, Lusada. Sparse work was observed at Odugbe in Lusada, Ado Odo/Ota LGA. The project terminated at Phase 4, Atan with only one side of the road under construction by Hitech Construction Company Limited. At the Sokoto end in Illela LGA, work was ongoing, bush clearing, sand filling, and site preparation. On the section towards Katami, Silame LGA, Sokoto and in Kebbi State, some portions have been completed with concrete paving and solar lighting installed. Progress is uneven and slow. Now here is what has been committed on paper, FEC has approved contracts worth N2.36tn for the highway since 2024, (N947bn for Kebbi single carriageway in August 2024, N456bn for Sokoto 120km section in October 2024 flagoff and N961bn for Kebbi second carriageway for August 2025). Just 3 days ago, President @officialABAT sent a fresh request to the Senate for a $516.3m loan from Deutsche Bank, the largest single external injection into this project yet. But the Minister of Works, @realdaveumahi admitted in February 2026 that only N210.31bn, 9.7% of expected 2025 capital releases have actually been paid to contractors. Contractors across @FMWNIG projects are owed N2.2tn for advanced work. Commitments on paper. The total cost of this 1,068km highway alone is projected at over N6.5tn, borrowed money, at a time when Nigeria already spends substantial part of her total revenue servicing existing debt. We urgently call on the Federal Government of Nigeria and @nassnigeria to; - Properly scrutinize every new loan. - Release funds owed to contractors. - Publish quarterly disbursement reports for this highways. - Scrutinise the $516.3m Deutsche Bank loan terms transparently. Citizens deserve infrastructure and fiscal accountability, not one without the other. #Publicfundsmustforthegoodofthepeople #AskQuestions
