An old cowboy owned a small ranch in New Mexico. The New Mexico Wage & Hour Dept. claimed he was not paying proper wages to his help and sent an agent out to interview him. “I need a list of your employees and how much you pay them,” demanded the agent. “Well,” replied the rancher, “There’s my ranch hand who’s been with me for 3 years. I pay him $600 a week plus free room and board. The cook has been here for 18 months, and I pay her $500 per week plus free room and board. Then there’s the half-wit who works about 18 hours every day and does about 90% of all the work around here. He makes about $10 per week, pays his own room and board and I buy him a bottle of bourbon every Saturday night.” “That’s the guy I want to talk to, the half-wit,” says the agent. “That would be me,” replied the rancher.

Elon Musk just put the entire university system on trial. Not the curriculum. Not the professors. The premise. Musk: “You don’t need college to learn stuff. Everything is available basically for free. You can learn anything you want for free.” For a thousand years, universities held one monopoly. Access. You paid the toll or you stayed ignorant. The internet erased that in a decade. Every lecture. Every framework. Every textbook. Free. From any screen on Earth. The six-figure tuition is no longer buying knowledge. It is buying a signal. Musk: “There is a value that colleges have, which is seeing whether somebody can work hard at something, including a bunch of annoying homework assignments, and still do their homework assignments.” That is the product. Not intelligence. Not creativity. Not vision. Compliance. You are paying $200,000 to prove you can tolerate bureaucracy on a schedule. Musk: “Colleges are basically for fun and to prove you can do your chores. But they’re not for learning.” The entire system is a sorting machine for corporate HR. It does not measure what you can build. It measures whether you can sit still, follow directions, and deliver on command. Four years of obedience dressed as education. Musk: “If you’re trying to do something exceptional, you must have evidence of exceptional ability. I don’t consider going to college evidence of exceptional ability.” The system optimizes for average. It rewards the compliant. It certifies the patient. It quietly filters out everyone who refuses to wait for permission. The ones who reshaped the modern world never finished the test. Musk: “Gates is a pretty smart guy, he dropped out. Jobs is pretty smart, he dropped out. Larry Ellison, smart guy, he dropped out.” They did not drop out because it was too hard. They dropped out because the speed limit was too low. The most dangerous thing a university does is convince a generational talent that finishing the syllabus is the achievement. It is not. It is the floor. A degree is a receipt for compliance. The future has never belonged to people who finish their homework. It belongs to the on

I am native Albertan, 70 years old and have gone from an ardent Canadian nationalist to an independence seeker. Why? Because I see no path to revamp the country, clean up its constitution, balance its electoral representation and fix the structural economic transfers embedded in the Charter. I see no way for the Maritimes, Quebec, Ontario, the West and First Nations to ever come to agreement on the kind of fundamental changes necessary to "fix" Canada. I see no interest from the rest of Canada to undo the horrid changes made by P. Trudeau that changed the highest power in the land from Parliament to the unelected courts. So, more in sorrow than in anger, its time to leave. Feel free to rebut my points as you see fit. To date, there has been nothing but fear-mongering in response, never concrete plans to actually fix Canada.

Let's be honest about something... If Canada didn't border the United States we'd already be a Chinese province. It was the US, not Canada, that expressed security concerns when Trudeau attempted to contract Huawei to build our 5G network. That sweeping Chinese surveillance project stopped because of the Americans. It's the United States that's expressing security concerns about 50,000 Chinese EV's entering Canada, not Canadians and certainly not the Canadian establishment. Mainstream Canadians are only aware of the danger this poses to our sovereignty because Americans are ringing the alarm. We can scream "elbows up" and hate Trump all we want, but as of right now, the United States is the only nation keeping us free.

WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!! Starmer Tried to Stop Us… But Britain Showed Up Anyway 🇬🇧 Against media smears, government pressure and speaker bans, our May 16th Unite The Kingdom rally became one of the biggest patriotic gatherings Britain has EVER SEEN! I called for peace, no masks, no violence and total discipline and you delivered! THANK YOU! This wasn’t far right. This was ordinary British people standing together to say they’ve had enough of being ignored, betrayed and silenced. The movement is growing, the message is spreading, and they can no longer pretend we don’t exist.

To ultra liberals like Starmer, Henry Nowak’s death just isn’t important because to Starmer white Englishmen can’t ever be victims, only “oppressors.” That’s what socialists believe too. But Henry’s life does matter to us and we need to remind him of that forever. Because one day it could be you on the ground in handcuffs gasping for air saying “I can’t breathe.”
According2Taz@according2_taz

This case is absolutely horrific. Henry got attacked on a night out, he was stabbed, his attacker cried racism and the police cuffed Henry, refused to get him help and he bled to death. Our Prime Minister has said fuck all. The police involved should be arrested and charged!

Kyle and I had a really challenging existence for many years. But we luckily took the time to figure out our differences and that was something he instigated with a conversation in his bus around how we each managed our racing teams. I was super eager for us to get on better terms. But it was he who made the effort for that to be possible. We did some media together also to laugh through some of the things we put each other through many years ago. Most recently we had even been discussing him running my Late Model at Wilkesboro this summer. He seemed extremely happy and we had planned to meet up next Thursday to get his seat to the shop. He laughed over the idea of his fans and JRM fans having to cheer in unison during that race. Kyle was one of the greatest drivers in NASCAR history. No one can deny that. But he was also a father, a husband, brother, son, and a friend to many. My heart is broken for the Busch family. I will never be able to make sense of this loss but I am thankful that we had found a way to become friends.
