@TheKoopaGuy it really depends if your goal is to find some sort of hidden gem area versus desiring the more authentic mundane aspects that someone from the country might experience. i think the sort of dullness you get is interesting in and of itself

It's funny when the "let's see what the real country is like" philosophy is transferred onto the US and Canada when there's no point in doing that at all. Just visit the tourist spots, everything else is just suburban sprawl and highways. You might find a cool trail to hike
