Alcohol License renewals are due on Tuesday, November 30th. If you have not done so already, please submit your application AND payment (even if you are missing some docs). All forms are available on Boston.gov/licensing.

Licensees, it is renewal season! All packages have been mailed out. More information available here: Boston.gov/licensing as well as the links to submit your renewals and to pay online. If complete, we will email you your license. Let’s make this process quick and painless!

Licensing renewals are upon us. Please make sure you pay for your @ISDBoston Building renewals and schedule your inspections. Without the ISD proof of payment, you cannot renew your Alcohol license.

Performers (ex. band, DJ) who are at least 6 feet away from patrons will not be required to wear a mask.

(2/2) • All approved entertainment may continue. Private businesses, including restaurants, may require masks and social distancing at their discretion. However, this will not be required by the City of Boston.

(1/2) As of May 29th, all restrictions related to licensed premises will be lifted. • No gatherings limits. • No table limits. • No time limits. • No mask/social distancing restrictions. • Alcohol can be served without food. • Dividers may be taken down.

@Rizzboston 2/ (and therefore don’t allowed because we don’t want extra people in the space)." Prior to that, we were trying to help businesses and allowing DJ as "background" when in fact DJ has always been considered "live" entertainment. Luckily, we are in Phase 4, and DJ is permitted!

Disc Jockey (DJ) is not permitted at this time per the State.

Phase 3, Step 2 for Boston on March 1st Restaurants may seat at full capacity with social distancing. Live entertainment (ex. DJ, Trivia) will NOT be permitted. Food service must be provided with alcohol. 90 min table limits and 6 people per table maximum. No lines may form.

🚨Update: Effective March 1, Boston will move into Phase 3, Step 2 of the Mass. reopening plan, except: ❌ Indoor performance venues and indoor recreational activities remain closed until March 22. ❌ Live musical performances in restaurants are not allowed until March 22.

Operators may hold trivia events in separate rooms following the Indoor and Outdoor Event protocols while providing seated service in their main dining area. (Part 3 of 3)

Restaurants may use their facilities to host trivia events following State's Event protocols, which include a 10 person attendee limit for indoor events. (Part 2 of 3)

At this time, for licensees with "trivia" on their Entertainment license in the City of Boston, trivia is NOT permitted during general restaurant operations. Dining areas should be used exclusively for seated table service. (Part 1 of 3)
