As the weather turns from summer to fall, from hot humid days to cool days of rain and wind, my mind shifts toward the holidays. I think of the classic holiday shows of my youth - Rudolph, the Nutcracker, Charlie Brown specials, and [checks email] Les Misérables.

I don't understand. I mean, he knew what he was doing when he chose to go out to eat. He dressed for it. He planned for it. He got to the restaurant and literally asked for it. Isn't he morally obligated to live with the consequences of his actions and complete the meal?
