@BungieHelp I took seven days off of work. I’ve been in the signing in screen for three hours. I was only able to watch half of that cutscene. And meanwhile a lot of people in the clan were playing the DLC while being inactive for montha. Thanks for ruining my night.

@alLegedgamin @PaulTassi People are conflating the two because the two are inextricably linked. Lobby balancing is unsolvable when the standard deviation of the skill of the chosen 12 is too large. We saw that when Bungie tried and completely failed to improve balancing of the 12 in an IB last year.

The problem is lobby balancing, the thing that happens AFTER the 12 players have matched together.
The negative sentiment comes from conflating the two, and both when not optimized can achieve similar neg effects

@PaulTassi Paul, people have NOT been constantly blaming SBMM. People have, for more than a year now, been specifically blaming its well-documented documented absence for PvP matchmaking being total and complete garbage. Bungie destroyed PvP for the majority to satisfy streamers.

Bungie resetting everyone's power level to 1350 doesn't encourage people not to play - instead it tells them it's ok if you need to step away, and that they won't be left behind when they're ready to come back.
