Based on my search of official Valorant esports sources and announcements, I couldn't find confirmation of a change to 8 teams for VCT Ascension EMEA 2025. Recent updates (e.g., from esports.gg and Liquipedia) still list it as 6 teams. The expansion to 8 appears to be for Americas only. If there's a specific source, share it!

ASCENSION 2025 CHANGES & THE MEANING FOR @FOKUSValorant Hello Friends, an hour ago @GinTomek announced that this year's Ascension will feature 8 instead of 6 Teams. This new format obviously changes the whole situation for us. What would need to happen for us to not be qualified? - 3 or even 4 Teams have to surpass us on Ascension points What does that mean for FOKUS? - IF someone who's currently ahead of us in points wins Challengers EMEA #3 it is allowed for us to happen that 3 (!!!) Teams surpass us on points and we would still be in as 8th seed - IF someone who's currently below us on points wins Challengers EMEA #3 it is allowed for us to happen that 2 (!!!) Teams surpass us on points and we would still be in as 8th seed In my head (im tired - dont judge me if im wrong) the only possible way of us NOT making Ascension is the following: - MDR has to win their Challengers EMEA group + get 4th place & three other Teams that are currently behind us in points place 3rd, 2nd & 1st So let's say it is not 100% guaranteed yet (& we dont wanna jinx anything) but our situation is way more comfortable than it was before. #123FOKUS @FOKUSValorant

EVER HEARD OF ASCENSION POINTS?☝️ What are they good for? - Tier2 Teams from all over Europe need to collect as many ascension points as possible to qualify for the prestigious "Ascension" Tournament at the end of the year (-> The "Ascension" Tournament is the only chance for t2 teams to promote to t1.) How to collect them? - Every Team collects Ascension points over the 6 Valorant Tournaments in this year (3x regional league, 3x emea challengers) - You need to place top4 in your regional league (top8 in north/east) to collect points, the better you place the more points you get How many Teams advance to Ascension? - There is no information on this from riot yet so we have to wait for their announcement regarding this years ascension. If they handle it like they did the last year we will have up to 10teams at ascension. Good to know: - 1 Team advances to Ascension by winning the third emea challengers this year, if they collected points before those points wont matter when it comes to the final standing between all teams from europe since they are already qualed - Ascension will 100% be an full offline event, which means that group & playoff stage will be played from stage! - there is no limit in teams from one region at ascension so if f.e. FOKUS qualifies through winning the third emea challengers and SGE / CGN / MOUZ collect enough points to be under the top x that is needed to qualify we will have 4 Teams from DACH in Ascension (the last year there was a maximum of 2 Teams from each region for this tournament) What do you think? Die Kriegsgefahr in Deutschland wächst durch die Bedrohung aus #Russland (#Putin) und durch die Schwäche der #USA (#Trump). Heute ruft mich ein junger Freund an und fragt, ob in den nächsten Monaten mit #Krieg zu rechnen sei, er wolle dann nach Südamerika fliehen. Den Rat, er solle sich zur Reserve melden und einen verkürzten Grundwehrdienst bei der #Bundeswehr absolvieren, fand er nicht hilfreich. Leider denken viele so.

wieso liegt der NC fürs medizinstudium eigentlich bundesweit bei 1,0 - 1,2, wenn wir seit jahren rumheulen dass es überall an ärzten mangelt? vielleicht müsste man nicht händeringend nach fachkräften aus dem ausland suchen wenn man jugendlichen nicht systematisch die zukunftsperspektiven versperrt, weil sie keine 15 punkte in sport oder erdkunde haben
