Minister @Siviwe_G: "We are working towards a new audit to ensure that any schools missed in the initial count are identified and included. As we take these urgent steps, members of the public can assist us in identifying any pit toilets that our audits could have missed or which could have sprung up after the 2018 audit. If you see a pit toilet in a school, please alert the Department through safeschools.gov.za."

Check out these new toilets for informal settlements! 🚽💧 Clean, dignified, and getting hugely positive uptake from the community here in Masincedane. 👏 This pilot in 5 informal settlements around Cape Town is a collab between the City, the @WaterResearchSA and @gatesfoundation. We look forward to scaling it up elsewhere. 🏗️
