En Instagram es todo jets privados, botellas de $500 y relojes caros, pero yo sé que vive en un estudio rentado y le debe dinero hasta al que le vende el café. La semana pasada cumplió 30 y nos invitó a 5 amigos a pasar el fin de semana en Miami. Nos dijo: 'No se preocupen por el vuelo, yo pongo mi jet privado, solo paguen ustedes el hotel allá'. Todos emocionados, cancelamos nuestros vuelos comerciales. El día del viaje, nos cita en un hangar pequeño. Nos subimos a un avión increíble, nos tomamos fotos, brindamos con champaña. Pero justo antes de despegar, el piloto sale y dice: 'Señores, hay un problema con la tarjeta del titular, el pago de $12,000 por el combustible y el servicio no pasó. Si no se liquida en 5 minutos, bajamos las maletas'. Mi amigo empezó a sudar. Nos miró con cara de tragedia y dijo: 'Bro, mi banco bloqueó la cuenta por seguridad, ¿alguien puede poner los $12k y yo se los transfiero apenas aterricemos? Es por el viaje de sus vidas'. Mis otros amigos estaban a punto de sacar la tarjeta, pero yo recordé que la noche anterior vi en su iPad que tenía abierta una pestaña de 'Simuladores de vuelo de lujo para fotos'. Me levanté y le dije al piloto: 'Oiga, ¿este avión vuela o es de los que se alquilan por hora para fotos de Instagram sin salir del hangar?'. El piloto se rió y dijo: 'Joven, este avión no tiene motores, es un set fotográfico. El señor solo pagó 2 horas de sesión'. Mis amigos se quedaron helados. Lo dejamos ahí solo con sus maletas y sus mentiras. Me bloqueó de todas partes y dice que le 'arruiné su marca personal'. ¿Soy un mal amigo por exponer su farsa frente a todos, o le hice un favor a mis amigos antes de que les robara $12,000 para una fantasía?
