@lhfaria These changes are slowly paving the way for Valorant's mobile ecosystem. Most mobile tournaments are run by the community and are less dependent on publishers.
Having these relaxed guidelines will help community TOs run more events at scale, which will ultimately benefit Riot.

Hey everyone, I know there are lots of questions surrounding the regional breakdown we shared earlier. A few notes of clarification:
- We took into consideration many factors such as community size (e.g. esports viewership), competitive strength, and commercial conditions
- Slots to Cups will be distributed in line with the strength and size of each region. Larger regions will get more.
- As mentioned in the full video, the breakdown is not final. What we may consider before locking it in: Stage 2 Play-In results this year, number of selected partner teams in each region, and tournament operator discussions.

We’re committed to bringing back regional competitions and making them greater than ever. SEA will be expanded into multiple regions: Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Wild Card (PH, SG, MY, and rest of SEA). South Asia and Oceania will also have regional competitions qualifying to LCQ.

@vctgender I think NS are getting cut. They're not a partnered team and I doubt they'll make the cut in this round of selections.

i'm actually kinda scared drx don't make the cut. like there's no way they do 4 korean teams, and drx are the only ones to never win an international. idk how their sales are tho, bc if they're good it could be nongshim that gets cut

@VALO2ASIA It's tough to balance keeping existing fans happy and getting new fans into the ecosystem. Yes, eight partnered teams are getting cut, but we may see new orgs with huge fanbases outside of Valorant bring many new fans to the VCT.

Did not expect Philippines merging with Rest of SEA. PH scene is HUGE and ROS is already extremely saturated with strong teams

@OfficialBSEN I don't think they are "banned" but rather "suspended indefinitely" from competing in BSC while they're under investigation, according to bobby's tweet.
I don't think RLM are 100% "banned" yet, although they likely are once the investigation has concluded.
