@EphingPosh @gwblok @jarwidmark You also need to detect if content changes (like scripts, tools, additional files, etc.). If so, then package source needs to be updated along with bumping the DPs.

Does anyone have examples of modifying the task sequence XML and then importing that to CM? To do things like swap apps/packages between environments.
I'd like to not start this completely from scratch.

@gwblok @miketerrill @jarwidmark This is pretty much the idea. Export the XML, find all environment specific references, get and replace for prod environment, update prod TS with new XML

You can export/import, then repair references. Only works well if both environments have all the references. If I am thinking what you are trying to do, the biggest blocker was the driver packs weren’t available in that other environment. That made it difficult for the WaaS work we did. @gwblok

Is there a way to launch the #ConfigMgr task sequence editor outside of the console?
Have a TS with lots of child TS and want easier navigation between them. Can write it myself if I can launch the UI.

@skatterbrainzz Where's the option to fix it on a new API version and keep both running while only giving the new message if users add version=1.08.5346 to the end of their URL?

“We love #configmgr, it’s not going anywhere, there’s more people coding on it than ever” - #msinunte CVP Steve @dispensa
I feel a need to amplify Steve’s quote - as indubitably people always finishing a conf like this taking away that it is dying.

Kicking off @wpninjasummit in Switzerland with Steve and Ramya. Talking about trends, win11, and cloud powered. Will be an exciting 3 days… #configmgr #msintune #patchmypc #memcm

@kidmystic I'm surprised it took this long. Once you joined Microsoft and could IM the Notepad PM, I figured it'd just take a few days!
You're slipping!

Does anyone have experience uninstalling applications in #ConfigMgr by denying an approval? It's only occasionally working for us and I can't pinpoint why it's only every now and then.
These are device deployments, available, set for require admin approval.

@alexandair I think DSC is a great idea, but it feels like it's so late to the game and there's very little movement on it from Microsoft... I'd love to get excited about it, but I'm worried it's just going to be some niche skill very few want or need.
English

It would be interesting to know how many #PowerShell users still use DSC and care about its future.
If you do, there are 2 new DSC v3 repos:

@NathanMcNulty Just run it as an encoded command. They love that.
