I will very often talk about how players from the past, are actually better then mordern players.

A true veteran, made a new video about League Classic, after playing it.
He observed, the new player base, and found they were lacking.
So he gave 3 easy basic to follow steps:
1. Get a Lead Early / Win your lane
2. Group up / Play for Objectives.
3. Don't be the guy who loses the game.
-Playing sidelane while Dragon/Baron are on the map(without TP))
-Getting caught, and slow trickling into
fights
-"Allstar player" Over playing for a pick.
-Don't dive without a BIG Tank, wait for the enemy to screw up, someone is always going to make a mistake.
-Perma farming when the game would just be over and won if you just 5 man the enemy mid.
Of note in Classic, Dragon gives ~200
Gold to all 5 players, so a top laner staying top for 200 gold. If that loses the dragon, this is a 2,000 Gold Swing
(His team missing out on 200Goldx5)
So they are now down 1,000.
(Enemy team got 200Goldx5)
So they are up 1,000.
This was a free 2,000 Gold, that if you just play for 2-4 times, you just win the game for free.

Oh wait.
This Video was made Febuary 2014.
Some things never change.
However, overtime due to things like Riot's Balence and Design and "Coaching" like Skill capped, which has proactively often told you to avoid your teammates, and go farm.
Riot has made 1v5ing significantly
more realistic, which many significantly suboptimal champion and item designs.
As well as removing the need for teams to group up early for dragon, because "It's not soul yet, so it doesn't mater"
Removing the need for early game teamfighting.
And making the game experience bad buy making the whole game determined by 1 Dragon fight at around ~30min
(see even in pro play)
So my point.
These are the Fundamentals, that 98% of players do not have.
For Skill capped cheating players, not
actually teaching the game, and just short cutting them to a higher rank, which inflats their elo, to whatever their hands can pull off.
And for Riot dropping the ball massively in the design space, in more then just one area since ~2015 to 2026~
This is why "League Next" 2027/Season17 and Classic are out or
coming out.
These are the fundamenets these awful post January 2020 players largely do not have.

One last thing I wanted to point out.
In 2013-2014 ~70% of players understood this before watching the video.
Now in 2026, it's way less then 10% which is a significant reason as to why the game often feels like Mario Party, even in Master+ lobbies.

This is the correct way to play the game.
If you don't play the game this way, what you have is Rainbow6 Champ level gun skill lobbies playing like copper when it comes to droning and you know.
PLAYING THE ACTUALY FUCKING GAME!!
But it's League, not rainbow.
If the game is not played like this, the League equivlamt to sound fakes donmt even mater because the enemy champ
level gun play Rainbow6 @doaenel is so low IQ the sound fake doesn't even work on him.

For Riot employees reading this, you need to design your game better, in a way so that the game isn't some brain-dead MarioParty slop.
Classic is the 1st step to League Next.
