@SwitchRL Plus you can just tell Johnny has a special love for the sport, otherwise he wouldn’t do his own 1v1 tourneys and so on. No one else does it on his level.

@SwitchRL Johnny is only a bad player, cause he’s older, if he was younger when the game came out I’m sure he’d have been a great player. Or it could be a Sir Alex Ferguson thing, where he’s not a good player, but has a crazy brain for the sport.

Always been the biggest problem with RL casting that 99% of colour casters have absolutely no idea how to play the game & why players do what they do Johnnyboi is the 1% of lower level players who actually knows what he's on about, rest often seem clueless

Well guys, this is it. I have officially retired from professional Rocket League. I will make a video soon with the reasons why, some of which are obvious and some of which are a bit more personal. But for now, I just want to say thank you. This experience has been one of a lifetime, one that I will forever be grateful for and cherish. It's been almost a decade now since this journey began, and it has gone by so fast. From day one, I just wanted to appreciate it and not take it for granted, and looking back I am very proud. I have made so many memories from this game. Some of hardship and failure, and some of overcoming what I felt was impossible. All the friendships and relationships I have made, places I have had the privilege of going to, and it's all because of Rocket League. I am eternally grateful I stumbled upon this game and community, and I hope I was able to impact it even a fraction of how much it has impacted me. I won't be going too far, as I will still be making content around the game, but it is certainly the end of a huge chapter of my life, one that is bittersweet to close. I will stay at the event and continue supporting my team mates and help in whatever way I can. Sorry to my supporters who now won't see me on track but I urge you still support our car to the end! The reason I'm even here at all is because of the huge support over many years so it really hurts to not be able to compete.

I have some really bad news: I've been disqualified from participating in the Nurburgring 24 hour. As you can imagine I'm totally devastated to not be taking part in what would have been the biggest race of my life.
