Heya! I was an FX animator for the recent #KnightsoftheLightTable music video of #StarlightBrigade for @TWRPband. Today I'm gonna share just a few of the shots I worked on. This one is special to me, as it was my test-shot, and the very first one I animated. #KotLT #TWRP

@Jaiydanimate Thank you hehe. I know I haven't posted on twitter in forever (and I don't know how active I will be in the future tbh) but I was proud enough of my work on this to break my year+ silence. Everyone on the project really crushed it, just as you'd expect of Meala.

@AndrewAssassins It was hand-drawn, and then rigged using the rigging tools in Toon Boom Harmony. It can be tracked to her movements like you described, but it can also be deformed via the rig.

@Epifex Turn rigged animation into a loop like the lava lamp effect of her hair and tail. and if was hand-drawn, how it was later turn into a rig or is just a pivot point that tracks her head and torso and plays the animation through the scene?

Aaand here's the rigged looping asset I made for Bee's lava hair, which was used by the rest of the animation team for many of her appearances throughout the episode 🌋 #HelluvaBoss #HelluvaBossBeelzebub #HelluvaBossBee

Question for animation fans: Who are your favorite 2dfx animators? Alternatively - out of all animated content you've watched, do you have any favorite effects animation sequences?

@james_blue_cat I've been kinda iffy on most new D&D stuff lately due to declining product quality and the fact that every day I wake up to hear WOTC has made yet another horrible greed-driven anti-consumer decision, but I genuinely hope you enjoy that if/when it comes out.

@james_blue_cat The first and only mtg game I've played was this set I think. I was playing with a funky raccoon bard but got my ass kicked by a never-ending horde of squirrels which kept killing themselves in front of me to inflict psychic damage. Don't underestimate the squirrels.

@phroobin I appreciate it man. There's a lot of newer stuff I wasn't able to include cus it's in NDA purgatory and stuff, but at least I've got it at the ready for future portfolios.

@phroobin Aw, thanks dude. I've been meaning to throw a newer reel together for ages now - it's nice to finally have it up.

Might have been better to include it in the reel proper, but here's a list of all the projects in order of appearance. There are some other works I'd have liked to include, but due to NDA's and such you'll just have to look forward to seeing them in a future reel instead.
