The Ukraine broke their sovereignty agreement with Russia when they tried to join NATO. It’s not reported that way in the West but that’s the crux of it. They vowed to “permanently remain neutral and never joined a military bloc”. How long is permanently? And is NATO not by definition a military bloc?

Trumps biggest geopolitical blunder is Ukraine, by far. It’s genuinely baffling. Being friendly with Russia, and harsh on Ukraine, makes no sense strategically, financially and—most importantly—morally. It’s genuinely insane. The Vice President Vance literally said that he is PROUD of not supporting Ukraine. What a disgrace. Russia is not an ally to America. They stand opposed to the Western world in almost every way. If they could push a button and make America self destruct, they would. In Ukraine, you have a brave people who LOVED America. A people who would be powerful allies to the US on multiple levels. Throwing them under the bus at their time of need is a grave mistake. Ukraine will rise from this war against their aggressor as a formidable power. They will get there despite Americas lack of support. I fully support Trump in his actions against the Islamic regime, and his support for Israel. I will continue supporting and cheering him on in that regard, with alacrity. But his stance against Ukraine really is an embarrassment. A huge mistake. History will not look kindly on that aspect of his actions.

The UK's threat level has increased to “severe”. This follows a rising Islamist and Extreme Right Wing terrorist threat, and yesterday's abhorrent antisemitic terrorist attack. People should be vigilant as they go about their daily lives, and report any concerns to the police. Our world-leading police and security services continue to work, day and night, to keep our country safe.

1/ In January 2008, PC Neil Sampson walked towards a man with a knife. He took seven stab wounds doing it. His dog Anya, already bleeding, kept hold of the attacker so her handler could live. That same man, Essa Suleiman stabbed two people yesterday in a terror attack in Golders Green. Here’s what happened next. 🧵

Interesting and insightful read on “guilt”. . This is why Muslims, even the so-called "moderates," always hesitate to condemn terrorism. Because they know jihad is required by Allah. They might not be willing to commit it themselves, but they can't say it’s wrong.
Dan Burmawi@DanBurmawy

Let me tell you why a Muslim would stab a random Jewish person on the streets of London. I was raised Muslim, and I know exactly why this happens. It’s not a reaction to the war in Gaza. It’s not oppression. It’s not radicalization. It’s the logical outcome of Islam itself. It doesn’t matter if you’re a Muslim or not, we as human beings carry guilt deep inside us. We know we are not good enough, and we spend our life trying to redeem ourself through good deeds, thinking it will make the suffocating guilt go away. Christianity for example offers a way out of guilt, a solution not based on your works but on Christ’s. Salvation isn’t earned, it’s given. You accept that you can’t redeem yourself, because Christ already did everything on your behalf. That means you’re free. Free to live, free to build, free to serve, free to love. And when a Christian feels lost, broken, and in need of forgiveness, they can go to church, talk to a pastor or priest, and leave knowing they are forgiven. Islam, on the other hand, doesn’t offer redemption, it weaponizes guilt. Instead of providing salvation, Allah exposes you, holds your sins over your head, and threatens you with hellfire and torture in the grave. The Quran isn’t a book of peace, it’s a book of threats. It bullies Muslims into obedience through fear, humiliation, and punishment. So what happens when a Muslim seeks redemption? They try to be better Muslims. They pray, fast, give to charity, go on Hajj, do everything Allah commands. But it never works. I know it. I did it. And no matter how much you pray, no matter how much you try, the guilt never goes away. Because deep down, every Muslim knows it’s not enough. Allah always demands more. Allah loves those who die fighting against the infidels. That’s not an opinion, it’s in the Quran, in Hadith, in every lesson taught to children. This is why Muslims, even the so-called "moderates," always hesitate to condemn terrorism. Because they know jihad is required by Allah. They might not be willing to commit it themselves, but they can't say it’s wrong. So when a Muslim fails to reach peace through religious rituals, they have two choices: Give up, stop being devout, and learn to live with the guilt, or commit to jihad, because that’s the only way to be true to yourself. The Quran spells it out clearly: “Kill those who do not worship Allah or obey the Prophet” (9:29). So when a Muslim embraces this identity fully, killing infidels isn’t just justified, it’s joyful. It’s an act of: Saving yourself, obeying Allah, securing your eternity, finally escaping the crushing weight of guilt This is why a Muslim can stab a random jewish person on the streets and feel nothing but satisfaction. Because for the first time in his life, he finally believes he has done something worthy of redemption.

At a dinner in the White House, Charles III told Donald Trump: “I’ve noticed your changes to the East Wing. I must say, we Brits also, in our own modest way, tried to renovate the White House back in 1814.” I didn’t know that myself, but looked it up — in 1814, the British burned the White House. The king also gave Trump a bell from a decommissioned British submarine named “Trump”: “Ring it if you ever need us.” And this one: “You recently remarked, Mr. President, that if it weren’t for the United States, European countries would be speaking German. Allow me to say that if it weren’t for us, you would be speaking French.” But the king didn’t just joke — he also reminded Trump about support for Ukraine and the role of NATO. Overall, Charles devoted his entire speech to subtly trolling Trump — in a very British way, so refined that it went right over the heads of MAGA supporters. They even applauded him for it! A British king and an American jester — that says it all. I love British humor!

This was just another example of blood libel against Israel, as if the government knew that the supplier from Russia was lying about the grain coming from Siberia. He was a regular supplier. Claiming that Israeli intelligence knows everything ignores October 7 and that diverting intelligence resources in the middle of a war to grain imports is ridiculous. Israel gains nothing from such actions, especially since Russia is not a friend of Israel either. Just look at the comments - people really think Israel deliberately ordered stolen grain. This is madness and shameful. We will see if Zelensky apologizes after learning the facts or keeps pretending Israel did it on purpose for no reason other than seeking sanctions and controversy over a tiny amount of grain. Ridiculous.

Here’s what @Grok tells me. The offence occurred in NSW in October 2019 (19 days after Daher arrived in Australia on a TOURIST visa). Daher, then a 32-year-old Lebanese national, approached a 15-year-old girl who was sitting on a bench. He sat beside her, claimed to be from Italy and alone, learned her age, and asked to be her friend. He then stroked her right shoulder and upper thigh despite her repeated requests to stop. He tried to hug her and kiss her (on the face/neck), followed her onto the train, and continued the unwanted touching. The girl told him multiple times to stop and that she did not like it. He was convicted in February 2021 of intentionally sexually touching a child (a sexual offense against a minor). He received a two-year community correction order and a $1,200 fine. The court accepted an agreed statement of facts that matched the description above. Daher married an Australian citizen (Theresa) about six months after the incident. He applied for (and was later granted) a partner visa/bridging visa. NO wicked grub like Daher who assaults a teenage girl should be allowed to remain in any civilised country! But I guess Burke saw a way to win favour! 👿👿

#BREAKING A recently arrived Lebanese immigrant, who sexually abused a 15 year old child, has unbelievably “won” the right to remain in Australia. Lucian Daher, who had only been in Australia for three weeks before he offended, argued that because he was a married father with three kids he should be allowed to keep his visa and remain in Australia. Unbelievably that request was granted. The 15 year old girl is understood to be distraught and terrified at the ruling.
