Time to get this off of my chest: What happened last night regarding that tweet about Will Ospreay (@WillOspreay) & the late politician Charlie Kirk was written in POOR taste & completely unacceptable. Why compare a wrestler who had a serious neck injury, went through neck surgery, came back to be in one of the biggest storylines in AEW & compare him to a politician who was murdered. What we watch on TV is different compared to what happens in the real world. Mind you, Kenny Omega (@KennyOmegamanX) came in & defended Will because he knew what his friend went through & what it felt like to be on the verge of dying himself (Diverticulitis). Yet, you have others going after him for defending his compadre. Let's not forget, THEY ARE HUMAN! Treat them with the utmost respect and common decency. It doesn't cost a DAMN thing to be a decent human being. Like I said before, Politics & wrestling DO NOT mix well & should not be compared to wrestlers who have dealt & are dealing with their own personal battles and struggles. My sincerest regards go to Will, Kenny & EVERY wrestler dealing with severe backlash on a daily basis from the toxicity within the IWC. As wrestling fans & human beings, WE NEED TO DO BETTER!
