Why are reviews so important in the healthcare industry? Well: - Online reviews are often a primary decision-making tool for people looking for new doctors. - Patients expect high ratings (4+ stars) from healthcare workers. - Positive Google reviews can attract out-of-network patients to primary care physicians and specialists. - Review volume for hospitals and physicians has increased by over 50% in recent years. - Many general practitioners lack online reviews, presenting a growth opportunity. - Reviews impact the reputation and patient flow of surgeons, pediatricians, and dentists. So it's imperative to stay up-to-date on your organization's reviews, and if you're not currently set up to recieve online reviews, you're behind the rest of the curve. #erasedotcom #healthcare #doctors #healthcareindustry #onlinereviews

Responding to reviews as a healthcare professional or organization (both positive and negative), is crucial. It shows that your organization values patient feedback and is committed to improving its services. A study by BrightLocal found that 87% of consumers read online reviews for local businesses, including healthcare providers. So, how should you respond to reviews as a healthcare professional? 1. Respond to Positive Reviews: Thank the patient for their feedback. This shows appreciation and encourages more patients to leave positive reviews. For example, a simple response like, “Thank you for your kind words! We’re glad to hear you had a great experience,” can show you value patient experience. 2. Address Negative Reviews Professionally: Acknowledge the patient’s concerns and offer a way to resolve the issue. Avoid getting defensive or blaming the patient. Instead, use a polite and empathetic tone. For example, “We’re sorry to hear about your experience. Please contact us directly so we can address your concerns.” This approach shows a willingness to listen and improve, and can offset the negative opinion of a 'bad' review from people looking through them. 3. Encourage Patients to Leave Reviews: After a positive experience, kindly ask patients to leave a review. This can be done through follow-up emails, text messages, or during check-out. More reviews can improve the organization’s overall rating and attract more patients, adding a level of credibility to your organization. Ignoring your reviews is one of the biggest mistakes you can make online, so ensure you're keeping up-to-date with patient feedback. #erasedotcom #healthcareprofessional #healthcareorganization #healthcare #onlinereviews

How do we decide whether to use removals or suppression when managing a client's online reputation? In real ORM, the goal is not “removal vs suppression," it's stable, page-one control over time. Removal and suppression are tools inside a bigger system: trust, authority, entity clarity, and monitoring. The better question is: which tool should lead based on likelihood, speed, and risk, while you keep building the authority layer either way. Removals means the page (or the harmful parts) comes down at the source, or the site blocks it from search. That includes: - Deleting the page - Correcting or updating it - Redacting your name or sensitive details - Adding noindex so it drops out of Google - Getting the result removed from Google after the source changes Suppression means you push down negative results by ranking stronger, more relevant assets above them. The page usually still exists, but it stops showing up where most people look (page one). Both can work. The question is which one gives you the quickest, safest momentum for your situation. Want to learn more about what's a better fit for you? Leave a comment and let's talk about it. #erasedotcom #suppression #removals #smallbusiness #businessadvice #reputationmanagement

It's time to start talking about AI bias, and how it can influence and damage trust. Trust used to be something organic, something that could be monitored, fed, and easily understood through human actions and words. Now, trust is something filtered, ranked, summarized, and in many cases quietly decided by artificial intelligence. The reality of the situation is trust is no longer strictly a human relationship, it's a relationship formed from data. Learn more about how to stay relevant, and stay ahead here: forbes.com/councils/forbe… #aibias #aianalysis #aiinequality #artificialintelligence

Reputation management isn't a fire drill. If you only show up to apologize, you’re just performing CPR on a brand that’s already gasping for air. Stop playing defense. Build a "trust reservoir" through proactive consistency before the fire starts. #erasedotcom #orm
