Maddalaine Ansell, our Director of Education, will become Erasmus+ National Agency Director Designate, as the British Council prepares to lead @ErasmusPlusUK. Since joining in 2018, Maddalaine has led our global education strategy across schools, vocational training and non-formal education, working closely with the UK government and international partners to make complex partnerships succeed. Before joining us, she served as CEO of University Alliance, spent 11 years in senior Civil Service roles leading skills strategy and helping establish the Newton Fund, and worked as a corporate lawyer with major international firms. She brings exceptional expertise in higher education, international collaboration and governance to this role. #ErasmusPlusUK
