Traffic around Southampton is currently extremely busy, with delays on several key routes. We would advise checking routes before you travel and planning your journey accordingly. @SouthamptonCC

@SouthamptonCC @KittyCat34 @scchighways The roadworks aren't the issue. It's the light phasing. It is now quicker to drive along portswood road to the south end of tlw to come back and turn right across St denys, than it is to turn left or go straight over from p'wood. That is until you close portswood road of course..
