The difference is it sounds like you had goals and the drive to better yourself, while some just hope to go viral and let that carry them instead of having goals they want to achieve which is what I think Ludwig is trying to get at when he said they should just quit if they can’t even think any goals

DO NOT QUIT STREAMING. When I started streaming, I had: NO connections. NO experience editing. NO experience doing social media. NO experience networking. And y’know what I did? I looked at the success of other streamers, I looked at how they achieved it, and I LEARNED. Events like Streamer University aren’t a one way ticket to success with streaming. Collabs, connections, and money aren’t either. Your ticket to success is being WILLING TO LEARN and HAVING FUN. If you’re so blinded by a drive to “be successful” that you forget to both learn and improve, and enjoy making your own content, your audience will ALWAYS notice. Learn how to edit videos. Learn how to manage your own socials in a way that encourages engagement. Learn to build spaces that your audience feels happy existing in. YOU are capable of so much more than you ever dreamed of if you’re willing to admit that you might have to start your journey knowing nothing.
