As always, it’s safety first for the community and our people while we figure out how we are going to get power back on after flood waters go down in and around Bundaberg. We have had to turn power off in low lying areas that are inundated. If it's flooded forget it!

Extensive testing of the Windorah solar farm and battery project is starting on 12 March. As part of this we need to simulate the operating conditions of all the equipment. There will be short outages between 8am and 4pm on these days. Thank you for your support and patience!

Our Blackwater crews have found some wires down that have caused an outage for customers around Rolleston and Comet, but it's been hard going for them to get in with gear because of the rain and boggy conditions. They're hoping to get power back by late tomorrow afternoon.

Water and electricity don’t mix – if you're in low lying areas in Bundaberg East, North and Central we may have to turn off power as floodwaters impact the city. Ergon Energy will only turn off power as a last resort if there’s a threat to safety.

We are experiencing flooding along Charleys Ck. Parts of Chinchilla have already been impacted. We need the community's support to make sure any electricity outages are kept to a minimum – if you’ve been told to evacuate, please turn off all appliances before you go.

@ErgonEnergy Not sure where you got the name Morgan from? It came back on. The workers are incredible. It's just so frustrating. 4 times in a month with medical devices and disabilities in the house is stressful

@ErgonEnergy why in earth are we losing power in every storm? I think we've lost it 4 times in a month. Is the network just so run down?

@ErgonEnergy Once again our power has be turned of for ‘planned maintenance’ I am absolutely livid. The total disregard for your customers is appalling! You have done nothing so WE can prepare for hours without power in the middle of a heatwave. This is unacceptable 🙁
