@davehelman_ I think the same caliber prospect at 20 and 39 has been exaggerated quite a bit it...just about every year a top 10ish prospect slides to 20ish.

Getting a blue chip prospect at the top of the draft and still making picks in the 2nd & 3rd feels like a worthwhile swap for pick No. 20. If you could actually work out that price.

@DrewLocks2 @The0ne_AnOnly @SWAGONPOlNT Every Cowboys insider has reported the opposite - zero calls and based off their conversations with other teams they are hearing a 3rd maybe a 2nd. This is not my opinion but every Cowboys insider I trust and listen to.

@lukee317 @SWAGONPOlNT Having to extend is not the issue...we just saw the Packers trade for Parsons and immediately extend. If there was a strong market for him we would be getting calls and teams would be willing to pay him immediately to avoid him hitting FA and the bidding war that follows.

@Cowboys_FanTalk I believe DJ already indicated some teams have DT over Downs. IMO if you are looking for more of a CFr that that can play down the preference would be DT. If hybrid S the preference would be Downs.

You're more likely getting taking advantage of trading back in this draft. It works for the Browns because they love the OTs. Can get another impact player on offense at 20.

I think if you jump to 6 you do it for Sonny or Delane & grab a Safety in the second ( there are several safeties only 1 Delane or Sonny) if you want Downs stay at 12 & keep 20 for a Edge, then look for your LB & Nickel & a Hybrid project player day 2&3

@ZachWolchuk I dont see how he busts based on his age, character upside etc. He might not turn into a high sack guy but the run defense will be elite IMO.

I would be fine with Faulk at 20. I think he is a good player he just doesn't have the sack production right now that you would like but he is a really good all around end
