I don’t necessarily disagree with this perspective. I don’t think it’s a black pill though. Just a reality.

I disagree. I think this is an an expedient position to have because it justifies just flat out rejecting anything made by people that aren’t leftists. But it’s simply not true.

Most entertainment media that comes through mainstream pipelines has open and admitted leftists attached to it. People right of center have no problem consuming media made by progressives. It has never been a deal breaker for them, and frankly, they assume it going in. But the more aggressive leftists, not mere ‘progressive’, refuse to consume anything made by someone who differs from them ideologically. This is exactly why most non-leftists working in the mainstream do so in secrecy. This dynamic explains the state of entertainment discourse today. And for some reason, it’s rarely ever discussed.
