David Grusch has talked to me many times. I have never heard any inconsistency in any set of statements. He has an unusual mind for excruciating details and discusses them with razor sharp precision at all times. What he is saying is beyond belief. And I believe he is not lying.

I don't think I'm being lied to about this UFO thing. I really don't. I've spent years on the matter. I think we need to demand more in terms of knowledge of the subject. Or at least expect more. I'm of the belief that knowing more is always better than knowing less but that gaming all this out is impossible. Let the chips fall where they may. Or float as they may. Because they just might, you know. Might float.

@EricRWeinstein The Coase frame is right but the timing problem is brutal. You negotiate licensing terms before extraction, not after. Most of the value has already been ingested. The leverage point passed while people were still debating whether AI was real.

Coase is you getting rich by training and liscencing your replacement.
Universal Income is you taking scraps from the AI table. Which will lead to communism and the death of dignity.
