I'm actually weirdly glad it's Westmeath in a Leinster final. Two reasons. One, they deserve and wanted it. Two, they might win it. Kildare wouldn't if they'd fallen into the final. Not one single player on that side will ever see an intercounty medal beyond Tailteann. Don't want it enough. Weren't even fit enough to match Westmeath which is the ultimate reflection of work and want. If they were a cat they'd be licking themselves on the bus home. That was utterly pathetic in every way. Including on the line. But we will get some bland shite about learnings.

@EricRob0810 @TheNorthernGam1 It would depend how the course is riding , track bias. Check out the draw the year when Mister Baileys won and the year Hawk Wing lost. Plus the stalls have not always been down the centre of the track, sometimes stand side rare occasions far side

Interesting draw in the Guineas for the top 3 in the market Distant Storm stall 2 Gstaad stall 7 Bow Echo stall 15 High, low or middle. Where would you rather be?

@The2000Guineas Looking at GB parading him Tuesday you can see his ribs protruding so I’d say he’s one horse ready to run for his life. Whether he’s still the best 3yr old miler at the end of the season is another thing but think he will be the best miler Saturday

Looks like common sense prevailed. Gstaad has the best form in the race now

@The2000Guineas @TheNorthernGam1 @CRacing7 Undeniably a good achievement but 3 horses have beaten him. The race in America was a European Grp 3 standard. Was able to go so wide throughout and around the bend and still win comfortably. Will also only be 85% race fit at max imo

@EricRob0810 @TheNorthernGam1 @CRacing7 Bow Echo has his chances but how many Group 1 races did he run in last year ? Gstaad to his credit finished second in 3 Group 1 races and won one. That is a good achievement

@The2000Guineas @TheNorthernGam1 Will only just do enough. 1 1/2 lengths. Newmarket will be his pinnacle. Not sure he ends the season as the best miler however but will be the best miler in May

I dont think I've know the 2,000 Guineas to be so wide open at this point in the season. The uncertainty of which AOB horses show up after Albert Einstein & Gstaad accidently removed from the race. Will the be supplemented for the sake of it. Whispers about Bow Echo.

@JMB_Racing @gkxlsi What’s your view on Bow Echo? 2000 Guineas always viewed as the last 2yr old race of the season. Course, Distance form & trainer will have him fully reved up to win a classic

@gkxlsi Well I did have Gewan, but sadly no longer with us. Until we see the Godolphin horses run, I can't really comment. I think its very wide open if you consider Aidans may not show up or be fully tuned up and others mentioning they may go to Ireland and France.
