The men involved in the incident at the TBD Dump in Clyde, NC, primarily work for Two Banks Development LLC, the site's owner. One individual is an employee of Wright Brothers Construction Company, which is affiliated with the site but states the event didn't occur at their jobsite.

They accused this innocent hardworking black man of stealing an employee's phone, so they searched his truck, and the owner checked the security cameras to see if he had taken it off one of the trucks.
The owner falsely claimed that he stole the phone (which he did not), and the men tried to attack him using guns.

On June 28, 2025, a truck driver delivering mulch to TBD Dump Site in Clyde, North Carolina, faced a harrowing ordeal. Arriving at 5:45 AM, 45 minutes before the site’s 6:30 AM opening, the driver, unfamiliar with the site’s protocol, didn’t know to wait up the street. An employee informed him of the rule but allowed him to stay as the gate was about to open.
Moments later, the site owner’s son confronted the driver, ordering him to circle around and let other drivers go first since he was first in line. The driver complied, waiting 20 minutes. The situation escalated when the owner’s son returned with five men, visibly armed, accusing the driver of stealing his phone. After 30-40 minutes, the driver allowed a truck search, which found nothing. The site owner reviewed security footage, clearing the driver to unload.
While unloading, the owner’s son claimed he found his phone on the ground. He and his group chased the truck, opened the driver’s door, and attempted to confront him. As the driver tried to escape, they used two bulldozers to flip his trailer and tip his truck over.
The driver is now seeking legal help.
