@_Procyon_lotor Right, we're not saying different things. If a person says, "I stand for everything this artist stood for" then that's different than loving an artist because of their work.

@_Procyon_lotor I've been there with liking an artist who's actually done terrible things and for a while I felt bad/weird listening to them. But in the end, I just learned that I can love the art but not necessarily love the artist or support everything they stood for. (Though I would want to)
