Earlier today, the audits @RepWittke and I ordered as co-chairs of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee to investigate so-called "diversity, equity, and inclusion" initiatives in Wisconsin's state government and the Universities of Wisconsin were released to the public. The results of these reports show us the extent to which DEI grifters profiteer off Wisconsin taxpayers with very little to show for it. Wisconsin should not tolerate, much less propagate, race-based discrimination masquerading as equality in its halls of government. Thanks to these findings, we can now more clearly see how DEI wastefully spends taxpayer dollars, and end it for good.

It was only two years ago that Governor Evers vetoed our original PFAS bill because he didn't support protections for innocent landowners. Today, the Senate voted UNANIMOUSLY to pass my PFAS bills, bringing our comprehensive relief effort to the Governor's desk. I'm glad that Governor Evers has changed his mind on innocent landowner protections from last session, and now agrees with us that it's wrong to hold landowners financially and legally responsible for pollution they didn't cause. We will soon begin helping communities and landowners fight PFAS contamination across Wisconsin.

The Legislature's Finance Committee approved my PFAS bills yesterday. This legislation will: ✅ Protect innocent landowners from being held liable for pollution they didn't cause ✅ Provide $132 million from the PFAS Trust Fund to fight these "forever chemicals" ✅ Help victims test, identify, and clean up PFAS contamination Onto the Senate for a full vote next week!

It was great to talk with Randy from WAG Cheese in Kaukauna at the World Championship Cheese Contest last week. WAG Cheese plays an important part in the processing of dairy by aging and grading different kinds of cheeses. I was proud to expand the Dairy Processor Grant Program in our state budget to help dairy outlets across Wisconsin expand their operations. I'm always happy to support our dairy industry and America's Dairyland!

Enjoyed celebrating the accomplishments of a local Eagle Scout, Dean Seaborn, during the annual Boy Scouts Report to the State last week. Organizations like the Boy Scouts are great ways for local students to become leaders in their communities. Congratulations on your hard work, Dean!
