Rock Port, MO - @AtchCoMail Republican candidate with deep family roots in Atchison County has filed for Congress to succeed Sam Graves. Nathan Hall Willett is the grandson of James Hall (1955) and Jane LaHue Philip (1957), both graduates of Rock Port High School. Nathan interned for current Congressman Sam Graves in 2015 in Washington, D.C. and learned about politics and constituent services firsthand. Inspired by his internship, Nathan was elected Mizzou student body president in 2017 with the highest turnout in the school’s 183-year history, with over 8,500 votes cast. Nathan and his team ran on the platform of bringing “Tigers Together” as Mizzou was experiencing one of the university’s most challenging periods in terms of stakeholder interaction. He was the first Turning Point USA endorsed candidate to win at the university and fought back against the decline from the protests. Nathan graduated from the University of Missouri in 2018 with a degree in Economics and immediately went into the classroom to teach high school algebra. With the backing of Kansas City’s police officers, Nathan ran for Kansas City city council in 2023 to represent the Northland (Platte and Clay County). Nathan took a stand for law enforcement and their funding after the mayor and council tried to defund the police in 2020. On the Kansas City council, Nathan is the lone conservative voice and often votes against the other 12 members – standing up for common sense conservative values. Nathan fully funds the police, voted to eliminate the “all-gender” restrooms in the new KCI Airport, and voted against city funded reparations. Nathan’s family runs one of the largest cattle operations within Kansas City’s city limits – Philip Farms. Nathan is a Christian and staunch conservative Republican just like his great-grandpa Blu LaHue – a former mayor of Rock Port. Nathan is committed to Atchison County and all of Northwest Missouri and plans to campaign hard to meet as many voters face to face before the August 4th Republican primary election. “For 26 years Congressman Sam Graves has represented North Missouri. He and his anti-Trump (Jeff Roe) political consultant are trying to hand pick the next person to come after him for the next 26 years. As conservatives, we don’t believe in rigging elections - he tried to with his last minute retirement announcement but I am giving the voters a choice. The people of North Missouri should get to decide their next Congressman - not the DC swamp. After we win August 4th, I will work to build back a relationship with Congressman Graves. Until then, I will work to earn the votes of North Missourians with our team & win all 33 counties.” #NathanForNorthMissouri

I’ve spent my entire career as prosecutor battling bullies every single day. Criminals are bullies who prey on innocent families, children, businesses, and schools. I don’t like bullies.

#NewProfilePic. I like this photo. It was taken recently when our grad-school boys (one first-year PhD candidate at MU Ag School and the other a 1L at MU Law). My wife Tracy and I are incredibly proud of their hard work, intelligence, and, most of all, their kindness to others.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Joe Kent gave a pretty good analysis on the Iran war in 2024: - The US probably can penetrate the air-defense for a shock and awe campaign - There will be quick results to celebrate - But in the long run it will be messy - Iranians will rally around their leaders, and this will unite them - “Iran has been an empire for centuries they will not go anywhere” - it would be “very bloody”
Lord Bebo@MyLordBebo

🇺🇸🇸🇾 Did you know that Joe Kent lost his wife to ISIS in Syria after US military leadership sabotaged withdrawal? In his resignation letter, he explicitly blames Israel for the death of his wife, calling it the "manufactured war"

We can't litigate ourselves out of Missouri's illegal gambling machine problem. We have to legislate ourselves out of it. Missouri can and should do better. I plead with the @MissouriSenate: Give prosecutors the critical tools to do our jobs. Pass sensible VLT legislation.

I’ve served as Platte County’s prosecutor for 23 years. In that time, I have won convictions against hundreds of murderers, rapists, child abusers, white collar criminals, and -- just once -- against a company that distributed illegal gambling machines. newstribune.com/news/2026/feb/…

And that COLA needs to be 5% because the inflation rate last year was 2.8% and the Commission’s meager “COLA” actually amounts to a pay cut when adjusted for inflation. Our deputies already make $15,000 less than other cops in our area! #StopDefundingPoliceAndProsecutors

And we can’t do our job to protect people from dangerous criminals and 650,000 soccer fans about to fly into our great airport in Platte County without resources. Our ask is simple and easy to fund. Give county employees—including deputies and assistant prosecutors—a COLA.

Finally on a plane back home after a long day. But the day is not over. I’m meeting with a stalwart Republican leader who is trying to bring an end to this insane fight the Sheriff and I are having with 3 supposedly pro-law enforcement Commissioners who slashed our budgets.
