But no further investigation? If AM Gibbs feels comfortable speaking like this on the Assembly floor to his colleagues, what does he feel comfortable saying behind closed doors, perhaps to staffers?

The Assembly Ethics Committee investigated Assemblyman @EddieGibbsNY for "sexually explicit remarks on the Assembly floor." Speaker Heastie directs him to get counseling within 90 days. The remarks are not revealed, but here is a possibility from the May 28 session.

I need to remind folks that it gets worse than this. This is his lawyer who has been receiving tens of millions of dollars of taxpayer money to legally abuse all of the women he sexually harassed.

Also: sexual harassment is governed by civil law. (Which Cuomo knows, because he signed multiple bills changing civil law around sexual harassment that Harassment-Free NY led the way on.)

Here's the thing: Jay doesn't get to decide who represents the Democratic Party and who doesn't. That's (supposedly) up to the State Committee that he oversees. Maybe he should gather NYC Committee members & let us weigh in...but that's too Democratic for Jay.
