@qiang_Tod @TheTennisLetter What's your point? You're still a jerk and I still will say the same thing. A lot of other players say the exact same thing and truly feel that way when they are at their best. So what? She can't say that but others can?
English

@EricaLJae @TheTennisLetter Have you even heard her interviews? She is so arrogant, and said only several players like sabalenka could compete with her tennis qualities and this is just a recent interview let alone tons of others before

Qinwen Zheng talking through tears in press after her 1st round loss at Roland Garros:
"Obviously you're feeling a bit upset. Is that about today or beyond today?"
Qinwen: "Of course it's hard for me to take when I lost the match.. it was really hard for me the match today. Thats tennis sometimes. The match didn't go my way especially a lot of the time I was going back to the court I felt there was no more space. Obviously she was doing well to play high balls with top spin. There's nothing more I can say, I can only take the lost. Let's see when I can move on."
"I think today could mean you move out of the top 100.. what are your next steps to rebuild the next few months"
Qinwen: "I didn't pay too much attention to my ranking, but of course I need to start all over again and that's gonna be different. But I think it's also gonna be kind of positive for me.. for me I think the problem was I needed more matches to get into rhythm." 💔
A great champion who's had so many setbacks... she'll get back to her best.

@jnr_gates @TennisChannel A grain of salt = contamination vs refusal = deception (even if she believes they didn't follow protocol). It makes you look very, very guilty vs someone who looked negligent. There's your sense. Just pee in the cup and be done with it. They're making an example out of her.
English

@TennisChannel Someone got tested twice at different occasions and still failed it. Got 3 months. Make it make sense 😂

English

@realkaralynch @TennisChannel Like, y'all can't stop talking about Sinner's grain of salt. That little in his system is clear contamination. THE DIFFERENCE is that he still agreed to take the tests. Refusal over technicality is clear deception. That speaks volumes. Just pee in the cup and be done with it.
English

@TennisChannel I’d like to understand the proportionality here. She didn’t test positive; she refused a test (claiming regular protocols weren’t followed) & it’s a 4 yr. ban. Sinner failed 2 tests & didn’t miss a major. Tennis needs equality; otherwise it threatens the sport’s integrity.

EXCLUSIVE: Tom Hardy was not fired from #MobLand and, despite creative tensions, sources say “things are being worked through creatively” for him to return for Season 3.
• The fallout can be attributed to several factors, including reports of Hardy’s tardiness on set and insistence on rewriting some of the script.
• “He’s difficult, but he’s a movie star,” one production source said, suggesting fault on both sides.
• Others say the situation may have been resolved sooner, but leaks from production “sources” claiming Hardy was fired escalated tensions and prolonged the drama.

@qiang_Tod @TheTennisLetter Saying she could beat anyone & she will beat anyone is completely different. It's easy to be mean on the Internet isn't it? Many players go into tournaments saying they can beat anyone. Not that they will. They feel that if they are playing their best, they can beat anyone. Jerk.
English

@TheTennisLetter I remember she said she could beat anyone before the conference interview, and now after lose she cried, if she could have less ego probably she would perform better
English

Crazy that tournaments kept giving Venus wildcards but didn't extend one to Pliskova for @rolandgarros . She's actually playing and winning, and a former grand slam champ and world no. 1.

@MarianneSa87889 @Variety Nothing like Grey's. Grey's is a romantic medical drama with about a million medical inaccuracies. the Pitt is all about accurate medical scenarios and the toll it takes on medical professionals.
English

Lawyers for #ThePitt submitted a final briefing to defeat claims that the series is a knockoff of “ER.” The defendants — including actor Noah Wyle — describe the proposition that “The Pitt” is a “derivative work of the “ER” as “baseless.”
"‘The Pitt’ contains no protected elements from ‘ER’: aside from sharing a genre (hospital drama) and certain unprotectable, genre-specific tropes, like the use of medical jargon, the two shows are nothing alike."

@ProfAwesome69 @Variety The amount of hate in this world is unfathomable. And those providing it seems to be the same type of people

@Variety Great news! Keep the Hamas lovers in Hamas territory.

“The Voice of Hind Rajab” is nominated for best international feature, but actor Motaz Malhees can't attend the #Oscars due to Trump's travel ban on Palestine.
“I am not allowed to enter the United States because of my Palestinian citizenship. It hurts. But here is the truth You can block a passport. You cannot block a voice," Malhees writes. "I am Palestinian, and I stand with pride and dignity. My spirit will be with the ‘Voice of Hind Rajab’ that night. Good luck to all of you. Our story is bigger than any barrier, and it will be heard."
In December, Trump banned people with Palestinian Authority passports from entering the U.S. alongside those from Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, South Sudan and Syria. Though Malhees will not be present at the Oscars, the film’s director Ben Hania, who is Tunisian, should be able to attend.

Well, I'm saying goodbye to @CapitalOne because who chooses to switch to Discover? Now, I can't use my card when it matters most, like paying a bill or shopping. I don't want to play roulette on whether or not I'll be able to use my card today. Closing my credit and debit cards.
English

Hey @espn the bait and switch on your US Open coverage is so rude. I paid for ESPN+ only to find out today coverage was 1 week. I looked and it only says matches on ESPN networks but does not say certain matches on "specific" networks. Not paying and extra $30 for 7 days of use.
