After the horrific murder of more than 6 million Jews in the Holocaust, the world vowed: Never Again. Collectively, we committed never to stay silent in the face of pure evil and never to allow innocent civilians to be slaughtered on an industrial scale. Right now that is exactly what is happening in Iran. The world has a moral imperative to put the concept of Never Again into practice and to act decisively to defend the brave people of Iran. Today, as we remember the victims of the Holocaust, we urgently call on the free world not to let another massacre go unanswered.

This is one of the most beautiful moments you will ever witness. Sir Nicholas Winton helped 669 children — most of them Jewish — escape the Holocaust. His humanitarian accomplishments would remain unknown and unnoticed by the world for nearly 50 years. Then in 1988 he was invited to the BBC TV show That's Life!. There he sat — unknowingly — as part of the studio audience, surrounded by the children he had rescued. They were now adults. Then they surprised him with one of the greatest gifts of all time. Their presence. They were there, all alive — because of him. Not only was he reunited with dozens of children he had saved, but he was also introduced to many of their children and grandchildren. Please remember Sir Nicholas Winton, for his humanitarian operation known as the Czech Kindertransport. Sir Nicholas George Winton, a British stockbroker, and a gift to this planet, left us on July 1, 2015, at the age of 106. May his memory forever be a blessing and inspiration to all. Please share. International Holocaust Day cannot be forgotten. But many are working to make that happen.🕯️♥️

Dear world, Iran was not a Muslim country. It was conquered by Islam. Today, Iranians are fighting for their freedom, and their bravery should hold us all in awe.

The clock has stopped. The last hostage, the hero Ran Gvili z”l, is home, and history has been made after 843 days. Throughout the entire time I was in captivity, we counted every single day. In a place so dark, with no information, lies piled upon lies, and an endless wait to come home, we always told ourselves that we knew nothing, but there was one thing we did know - the number of days we had been held captive. We found comfort in the thought that every day that passed was one day closer to our release. And now, finally, we can stop counting. The moment we waited for for so long has arrived. Everyone in this country, and people around the world, prayed for this moment. It is incredible to me to see how everyone, truly everyone, saw, felt, and carried the pain of the hostages and their families as if they were their own brothers and sisters. People set an empty chair at Friday night dinners and on holidays, as if we were part of their family. It is incredible to see that no one gave up. Not even for a moment. This shows us the power we have when we are united around a single goal. Thank you to all the security forces who, for so long, risked their lives and gave everything of themselves, day after day. Thank you for not giving up. We are here because of you. After more than 11 years in which there were hostages in Gaza, only now, finally, can an entire country begin its healing. Be patient with one another. We have all been through hell. This is not a slogan - it is a real effort required from each of us to seek out what unites us, not what divides us. We will always remember all those murdered in this horrific massacre, the hostages who were murdered in captivity in cold blood, and the soldiers who gave their lives to protect our country. We will always remember that behind every angel taken from us, there is a family that needs support and needs to be seen. And alongside them, we remember the families of the hostages who went through hell, and who are only now truly able to begin their own healing process. Make sure that we never forget October 7th. That we will grow from our grief and become stronger. Together.

François Arnaud says he doesn’t believe ‘Heated Rivalry’ could have been created in the US in new CBS morning interview: “It was [pitched] to big streamers before, and they had so many notes and so many thoughts about what the show could be that Jacob [Tierney] decided to leave them and get it made in Canada. Granted, a much smaller budget, but he was like, ‘I can do the show I want to make.’ I think this is what people are responding to. It’s a huge lesson for Hollywood people— that this is a niche show with no movie stars, and it’s become a much bigger sensation. They didn’t want any kissing until episode five.”

François Arnaud calls on NHL to support LGBTQ+ inclusion if they want to keep using ‘Heated Rivalry’ to drive traction and reach wider audiences: “If you’re gonna use our name then just back up with real life sh*t like [unbanning] the pride [tapes and jerseys].”

One Life movie. Saw it this evening at the cinema. An utter, utter masterpiece. So powerful because of the humility and understatement. Anthony Hopkins is sublime, and the recreations of what was happening in Prague before the Nazis invaded -amazing. #OneLife #SirNicholasWinton

Hi @harleyf great piece and thanks for speaking up. We’re witnessing two coordinated anti-Jewish movements built on libel and lies: antisemitism and antizionism. History shows that both are rooted in falsehoods and inevitably lead to violence against Jews. We fight it by speaking up and standing tall & proud 💪

@harleyf @nationalpost When a society starts debating wether targeting Jews for being Jewish counts as antisemitism, the problem is not semantics, it is moral drift. This did not happen overnight. Ruinous empathy toward antisemites made it possible. Excuses and silence did the rest.
