The reason why Gen Z is loving The Rookie is that people just love procedurals. They gravitate towards them. And they also want more than 8 episodes and seeing characters fall in love, get married, grow. They want the TV experience that is rarer to get nowadays.

@AlanSarapa It’s like how you’ve said that characters sometimes need a break. I realize that nothing can save Drew at this point, but a show can dream. I would actually be for Drew coming out of his state a changed man & nobody ever believing him. Certainly better than what we’ve gotten.

Saw the scenes out of order - just saw the earlier scenes. The way she looked at him and called him “my son” with such emotion, like it was her first time seeing him. I definitely think she figured it out while she was out of town. #GH
