We are so proud of the 7th and 8th grade girls varsity basketball team at St. Luke’s School. They were undefeated in the diocesan league, and placed 5th in the state tournament. We were honored to present them with certificates from the House. Congratulations, Lady Crusaders!

35 years ago today my brother ⁦@fr_michaelk⁩ was ordained ⁦@petercathedral⁩ for ⁦@ErieRCD⁩. We celebrated Mass together this morning in the very place he received the Sacrament of Holy Orders.

As has been reported, Pope Francis asked for prayers for Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI today. His health has declined but is stable and under medical care. Please join me in prayer: May Christ, in his tender mercy, give Pope Benedict the comforting assurance of his healing presence.
