@drdave1999 Completely agree with the first sentence. The "this is not who we are"-argument doesn't seem to fly any longer. I'm not so sure about the second statement though, as monkeys are more decent, respectable and social creatures (and smarter!) than those two in the bottom row.

The breakdown of basic norms and the eroding of the most minimal expectations for civilized society is more egregious in the U.S. than anywhere else in the world. American voters would elect monkeys if given the chance.
