❗️A mediation 'reminder'
If you choose to try mediation with your LA - whether it’s about a refused EHC needs assessment or about an EHC plan - the person who attends on the LA's behalf MUST have the power to settle the case and make decisions for the LA in the meeting. They can’t say they have to get someone else’s approval afterwards 👇

A reminder for parents of children with EHCPs due to transfer in September from an early years setting to primary, primary to middle or primary/middle to secondary that the Council must issue the final amended EHCP naming the new setting by next Wednesday (15 February) #SEND
