What makes a leading character compelling to you?

@CTropes Because banning books is what the good guys do in history... right? Honestly, that they can't see the parallels between them and the Nazis is alarming.

Texas bans a bunch of books for high school discussion including graphic novels for V for Vendetta, Y the Last Man, and Handmaid’s Tale. Gross.
