🔴 Game Off - Statement Despite a match currently taking place on Townhead Park, today’s referee has called the match off due to safety concerns of the pitch. We are extremely disappointed as the referee has not been able to complete a full inspection due to the match which is taking place. The referee has walked areas of the pitch they can but has not been able to gain full access. Our understanding is the first match has been a venue decision to allow it to go ahead despite an inspection being agreed yesterday afternoon and communicated publicly by @SWPL. We are also clear in our understanding that this has been completely outwith Ayr Utds control. Ayr Utd have followed the established processes as required with SWPL and the venue. Details of the rescheduled match are to follow.
