I always find Box Hill Station (in Melbourne) a bit strange. Platform 1 has no tracks and is not used (see video). It was used for a short period in 1983 when they were building the other platforms.

my favorite olympic event is the speed skating where they skate in a comically small circle and everyone looney tune crashes and only one person is standing at the end

i love how in january it gets colder and deeper into winter but anything warm and festive like mulled wine or christmas markets is banned and instead you’re encouraged to be as frugal and puritanical as possible until the sun rises again in march
