New paper out! We find a behavioral syndrome of competitiveness with correlations between traits for risk-taking behavior (boldness and exploration) and traits for competitiveness (aggressiveness and an indicator of dominance rank, i.e. UMV). Read it here: rdcu.be/dSN49

Why? Returned to my fieldsite after a 2 week conference break and found a territorial marking poop (with vole bones!!) on top of one of my traps. There were plenty other high things Mr Fox could have poop on next to it but it choose the trap. We're afraid it's a bad omen...
