Our Y5 and Y6 choir had the time of their lives at the Young Voices concert last week. They sang beautifully, danced incredibly, and represented our school wonderfully. Well done to all children who attended. @DEMAT__

The children had a very special visitor in school today. As you can imagine, they were quite excited! We'd like to wish our families a wonderful Christmas break full of warmth and joy. @DEMAT__

Year 2 have been learning the poem T'was the night before Christmas in their English this week. They thought of all the actions themselves and learned the poem off by heart. We are extremely proud of them! We wish all our families a wonderful Christmas. @DEMAT__

11 Year 5/6 ESCA pupils attended a cup fixture against Huntingdon Primary. All the pupils played superbly, showing great teamwork, tenacity and skill and scored some truly fantastic goals! We are now on to the next round! Well done ESCA! @DEMAT__ @CEO_DEMAT

Our Reception pupils had a fabulous time learning and exploring outdoors this morning. @DEMAT__

2/2 On the pitch, the teams did us proud by being the WINNERS and RUNNERS UP in their respective competitions! we now have the trophy to add to our growing collection! Thank you to all of the school staff, volunteers and parents that supported the event. Lets go ESCA!

1/2 On Tuesday, a few of our Year 6 pupils were fortunate enough to participate in a Tag Rugby event against a range of other schools. The children showed tenacity, were respectful and smiled at both successes and mistakes. @DEMAT__ @CEO_DEMAT

One of our year 4 students was so inspired by the homework that was set that he created this fantastic poster full of information about what he has learned in year 4 so far. @DEMAT__

Last Friday we were fortunate enough to send a team to take part in the first ever DEMAT football tournament. The team were fantastic and managed to win 8 of their 10 games! It was a great day and we were so proud of the teams behaviour and performances. @DEMAT__

Grandparents Day 2024 What a delightful day we had on Wednesday 18th September! It was such a joy to meet so many of our wonderful Grandparents and to see the excitement on the children's faces. The children loved having the opportunity to read and to be read to. @DEMAT__

Welcome back everyone! It was lovely to see all of our children, walking through the gates with smiles and excitement this morning. @DEMAT__

Pupils in Dakota class had fun acting out our scripts today. We wrote the script ourselves, and performed the scene from Twelfth Night where Malvolio wears his yellow stockings. We have some future Oscar winners among us! @DEMAT__ @tricia_moss124

3/3 We are very proud of Alessia, who's work was displayed and formed part of this anthology. What an amazing achievement!

2/3 Children's questions from schools across our Trust were selected for an Impossible Questions anthology. Children were invited to the DEMAT Impossible Question Symposium to celebrate their work, see their work displayed, meet Isabel, and receive a copy of the Anthology.

1/3 Children participated in the Impossible Questions Lecture Series led by the author Isabel Thomas throughout the year. They were then invited to complete their own Impossible Questions projects. @DEMAT__ @CEO_DEMAT

2/2 The girls did everyone proud by WINNING the whole event and winning every match that they played! In particular our bowling and fielding was great with some superb diving catches - well done girls your hard work and practice paid off! 🙂 @DEMAT__

1/2 Today we were able to take 10 girls to participate in a Cricket tournament at Ramsey Cricket Club. All of the girls were tremendous throughout the event and demonstrated our ESCA ethos by showing respect towards others and being tenacious.

On Wednesday, our Year 6 pupils went to Duxford Museum. Each of them showed politeness, tenacity and respect when walking round the museum with us receiving many compliments for their positive behaviour. @DEMAT__
